Sandcastle Inn

The Sandcastle Inn was a great spot- easy to work with, close to the beach, and friendly staff. Close to south beach restaurants and shops, we felt safe and got a good night’s resf. I would stay here again!

The rooms smell so good each time! The front desk is very friendly and welcoming! The beds leave you a little stiff in the morning but that could be my old rusty back!

This hotel has withstood the test of time and seen a lot of great family events, I'm sure. Dawn, the owner, the porter and another front desk lady were all very helpful and attentive during our 1 night stay that gradually turned into 5 nights for 2 rooms. My only complaint is that as a Fort Myers Beach, Florida Resident; I understand oceanianic wear n tear but the appearance of sanitized floors and sinks is most ideal to this guest and her family. Perhaps a bleach soak on the grout in the bathroom crevices and a new sink basin would be ideal for future guests. We were so thrilled to have our Weather Bus RV parked right outside our front door for 5 days during off season it made it that much more easier to stay. Overall....yes we would stay again. Staff was great! Property IS very CLEAN! No debris or liter. Other rooms may be better.

Traveled to Florida with my friends and needed a place to stay for the night on the way back. Called this place and the reception was really nice, helped us book and allowed us to arrange to arrive after check in time since we were still on the road. Check in was easy, they are dog friendly, rooms are clean and surprisingly modern. Extremely good area! Around a lot of good little touristy bars and restaurants that are within walking distance and the beach is right there. Can’t beat it for the price. Only complaint about the room is that the beds are a bit stiff, and staying with 3 people the toiletries provided went a bit fast but other than that it was excellent. My friends and I were only here one night, never been in this part of Georgia before and we want to come back for a weekend trip and stay at this hotel again. Had a wonderful time!

Literal walking distance to the public beach access. Park your car at the hotel for your trip. You are walking distance from nearly everything fun on that end of the island. This room was clean and modest. Very clean which was a great surprise. They are so hospitable that they allowed late check ins so we could come at our own pace without being stressed out. Ice machine is not the greatest but I'm sure they can take care of that. There is a nice pool outside. Clean safe neighborhood easy walking distance to the breakfast club make sure to go super early or stand in line outside. Great room. Fantastic price. Best bang for your buck

Stayed for four days with my family of four. Perfect just to rest so you can visit the beach all day! Just a small, casual place to rest. Restaurants, convenient stores, and the beach are all in walking distance. The maintenance man was very nice and helpful! Our tub wasn't draining, and he came to fix it quickly. I enjoyed our stay there. Like I said, it's perfect just to rest there and recharge.

It’s a little old motel but it’s in a great location to the beach and shops and restaurants. Perfect for taking a shower and resting for the night…. We got there early and the front desk lady was really nice and gave us a parking pass so we could park and called us as soon as our rooms were cleaned and ready! The only thing I saw that was an issue would be parking. We left for dinner one night and when we got back the entire parking lot was filled we had to park on the street. They really need to enforce the one car per room policy. But other than that it was a great stay. Thanks again!!

Quite after the holidays yet we always love Tybee Island no matter what time of year. The sandcastle accommodated us with a earlier check in n that was a bonus.
